Grids

For this series, the focus was grids. We created one complete photo using pieces from 4 different ones. The point was to make sure that the eye could flow from each section. To do this, I used repeating photos and themes like eyes and connected lines. The hardest part of the assignment was getting the proportions exactly so, we had to crop and play with different angles. Patterns were the easiest to make because the shapes repeated easily. My favorite photo was the blue eye, which was considered minimalistic because having the one colored eye floating in a white space adds mystery.

  1. steph this is a very nice selection of photos, i like the way that they are set up , i can tell that it took a lot of effort to get the proportions correct.

  2. These are very nice pictures!
It is soothing to the eye how all the lines somewhat connect in a way that doesn't require them to actually connect the lines. All of the images have a good relation to each other, which also helps the flow of them.

    Nice work :)
